Week 14 Abstract Sports Fantasy Football League Recaps: The Playoffs are Here

THE PLAYOFFS ARE HERE

There are no high score cash handouts in the playoffs. It's a 3-round affair, with the top two seeds with the 1st round bye. Let's keep it competitive all the way through. Also, the consolation bracket is just for fun, so you're not required to set your lineups.

FFL1 Recap

Lambeau Forever (124.46) held Backfield Penetration (118.66) from a shot at a first round bye.

Ja'Marrvelous D*cker (148.84) snags a 1st Round bye in a hard-fought battle against Dora the Touchdown Scora (133.06). He's make his run at defending the title.

I Strained McCaffrey (117.24) secures the #1 Seed and a 1st Round bye in his win over Fumblerooski (87.46). Regardless of the loss, Fumblerooski is still in the big dance.

I Like TDs (129.48) got the win over Team FSABS Hart (85.1), and gets a shot a the championship this time around.

Perpetual Priapisms (135.8) also punch it into the playoff bracket, Henryless Levis (118.04) dealt a blow that lands him in 11th on the season.

And last but not least, GIT UR DUN (167.76) earns the high score cash grab, a last hurrah to end the season over Tuddy Buddies (102.18), both teams missing the playoffs.

ASFFL Playoffs Round 1

I Like TDs (5) vs Perpetual Priapisms (4): I Like TDs gets a shot at the title, but in order to get there he has to go through the FFL1 Inaugural Season Champion Perpetual Priapisms. In Week 7, these two teams faced off and the Perpetual Priapisms got the win 131.86-190.54. They went head-to-head again in Week 13 and I Like TDs scraped by with the win 143.84-139.64. This should be a good matchup.

Fumblerooski (6) vs Backfield Penetration (3): Fumblerooski's first season in FFL1 resulted in a playoff berth and he goes head to head with Backfield Penetration in Round 1. These two met in Week 2, and Fumblerooski won 136.9-111.8.

Tater Tuds (120.82) got a win over No Place Like Mahomes (103.8), effectively landing him at the 5-spot going into the playoffs.

Jackson's Finest Team (151.84) got a big win over last year's champ, Tua's Trophy Fish (116.14). With this outcome, both teams end the regular season tied for 1st, but the tiebreaker goes to the team with the most points scored on the season, and that was (drum roll)... Jackson's Finest Team by about 78 points. Both teams have also secured 1st Round byes.

Tet's TDs (135.64) got the win over Greg Heffley (114.28), forcing him out of the playoffs due to a points scored tiebreaker.

The Kittle Engine (109.92) beats Jeanty & Juice (100.86), making an impact on the playoff picture for the lower seeds. The Kittle Engine has punched their way into the playoffs in their first season.

With the win over the Lumberjacks (85.5), the Smokin Fins (109.96) are headed to the playoffs by the skin of their teeth.

ASFFL Playoffs Round 1

Tater Tuds (5) vs The Kittle Engine (4): The Kittle Engine's first season in FFL2 results in a playoff berth, and he faces the commissioner Tater Tuds in Round 1. These two met up in Week 11, and the Taters got smashed 108.02-158.86.

Smokin Fins (6) vs My Nabers (3): The Smokin Fins are the ultimate underdog in these playoffs with the least wins of all teams, but anything can happen in the playoffs. That being said, My Nabers have been on fire this season with four high scores earned (two of them back to back to end the season), and the most points of all teams entering the playoffs.
