Week 13 Abstract Sports Fantasy Football League Recaps: Final Week of the Regular Season

FFL1 Recap

All teams going into the playoffs have been decided. Week 14 will determine the final seeding, so it's not an off week by any means. Even if you're eliminated, it's important to make it a living hell for those teams that DID make it, so please set your lineups!

Backfield Penetration (77.04) put up the lowest overall score across both leagues and pretty much gave the Tuddy Buddies (130.86) the win in Week 13, but it wasn't enough to keep his playoff hopes alive and is eliminated.

Henryless Levis (117.28) took the win over GIT UR DUN (115.84) in a scary-close father vs son showdown. However, it was all for nothing because they're both eliminated from the playoffs already with one week to go.

Fumblerooski (116.56) put the nail in the coffin for Dora the Touchdown Scora (101.84), and punches his ticket to the playoffs in the same swing. I always love it when the new guy to the group does well, it keeps us day ones competitive.

I Strained McCaffrey (146.4) moves in the number one spot after a beat down of Team FSABS Hart (88.4), but his first-round bye still isn't safe.

I Like TDs (143.84) got the win over the Perpetual Priapisms (139.64) in an absolute nailbiter. With his win, he makes the playoffs because the next closest team is two games back with only one week left. Perpetual Priapisms are just above him the standings with the same record, but more points scored.

Lastly, Ja'Marrvelous D*cker (155.32) walks away with his third high score of the season with his win over long-eliminated Lambeau Forever (136.04). It was still a fight, but he got the job done.

Featured Matchups for Week 14

Both first round byes are up for grabs, so those top dog teams are looking for a win and a chance at securing one of those. If I Strained McCaffrey loses he could miss out on a bye with the points scored tiebreaker. And those bottom-seeded teams could jump up to the middle of the pack and not have to go up against a dominating team right out of the gate. FFL2 Recap

Tater Tuds (134.42) took down moneymaker Jackson's Finest Team (123.66), punching his ticket to the playoffs. Tater Tuds are one of three teams at 8-5, so Week 14 will be interesting for seeding in the lower to middle spots of the bracket. Jackson's Finest Team is already in the mix as well.

Tua's Trophy Fish (125.8) notched another win, a close one at that, over Jonathan's Scary Team (120.38) and secured one of the two first-round byes. The defending champ is making a statement going into the playoffs in Year 2 of FFL2, and he's not giving up that trophy without a fight.

The Kittle Engine (109.92) wins the low-scoring affair over No Place Like Mahomes (103.14). He makes up the last of the 8-5 teams punching their tickets to the Bracket Dance with seeding implications on the horizon.

Greg Heffley (130.76) won the brotherly showdown over the Lumberjacks (90.8). Greg Heffley is one of 3 teams who still have a shot at a playoff berth, to be determined in Week 14.

The Smokin Fins (124.04) gave himself a fighting chance to make the playoffs with his win over Jeanty & Juice (96.74). Both teams have a chance in Week 14 to make it in by the skin of their teeth.

My Nabers (165.66) secured his playoff spot with a win over Tet's TDs (113.12). He's one of the three 8-5 teams, joining the log jam for seeding in Week 14. He also wins the high score cash grab, his third of the season.
