Week 12 Abstract Sports Fantasy Football League Recaps: 2 Weeks to Go, New Overall Low Score, Playoff Log Jams

FFL1 Recap

The matchup of the week didn't disappoint. Team FSABS Hart (169.16) won the close call over Dora the Touchdown Scora (147.14) and both teams sit at 5-7 after Week 12, HOWEVER... Team FSABS Hart walks away with the high score cash grab, his second on the season.

Ja'Marrvelous D*cker (120.22) stave off the potential-but-unlikely comeback on Monday night against the Tuddy Buddies (105.54). He jumps to 8-4 while the Tuddy Buddies are the inverse of that AND eliminated from playoff contention.

GIT UR DUN (109.76) keeps his playoff hopes alive with the win over I Like TDs (96.22).

Backfield Penetration (108.62) beats up Henryless Levis (92.06), crashing his hopes and dreams of the playoffs as well.

Fumblerooski (156.52) is definitely in the playoff discussion with the win over Lambeau Forever (126.16). Lambeau is one of the three teams eliminated from a chance at the championship.

The Perpetual Priapisms (163.98) wins the big dawg fight over I Strained McCaffrey (144.86). I Strained McCaffrey is already in the playoffs for sure, and the Perpetual Priapisms are 98% of the way there, according to the standings.

Well one featured matchup was a blowout of all blowouts. Tua's Trophy Fish (141.48) absolutely squashed the Tater Tuds (54.42, a new cross-league low). Tua's Trophy Fish are now in the playoffs for sure and the Tater Tuds fight on with a high chance of making it as well.

The second featured matchup, while not quite the blowout of the first one, was still not a close matchup. Jackson's Finest Team (176.36) did his thing against The Kittle Engine (133.76)... you know, that thing where he wins, and gets the high score cash grab? Yep, and it's his SIXTH on the season ($90). How wild is that?

Jonathan's Scary Team (167.96) had a great showing against Tet's TDs (120.52), but all for nothing, because both teams have been eliminated from playoff contention at the end of Week 12.

My Nabers (157.16) got it done against the Lumberjacks (108.06) and is all but IN the playoffs, while the Lumberjacks still have a 10% change to claw back into the picture.

The Smokin Fins (100.82) won the close battle against No Place Like Mahomes (97.38) keeping his playoff hopes alive at a 11% chance of getting in.

Jeanty & Juice (169.66) put up some solid numbers in Week 12 against Greg Heffley (108.14), landing him at 68% chance of making the playoffs. Greg Heffley only has 30% chance although they have the same record. It looks like we will have quite the log jam going into the playoffs with many teams being tied near the top.

Featured Matchup for Week 13

I'm looking at Greg Heffley (6-6), Smokin Fins (5-7), and the Lumberjacks (5-7) as they all try to finish the season strong for a unlikely, but still possible, playoff berth. Also, Greg Heffley and the Lumberjacks go head-to-head in a brotherly showdown to the death (potentially). Winner keeps their season alive, loser potentially eliminated from contention.
