FFL1 Recap

I Strained McCaffrey (166.86) did what he's done all season long and dominated I Like TDs (126.28). Even if I Like TDs had 40-point Brock Purdy in his starting lineup it wouldn't have been enough.

Ja'Marrvelous D*cker (113.0) snuck by with a win over Fumblerooski (104.3) and finds himself in the championship for the second year in a row.

Abstract Sports FFL1 Championship

Ja'Marrvelous D*cker (2) vs I Strained McCaffrey (1)

The seeding predicted the two teams going into the championship this year, and it's going to be a doozy. I Strained McCaffrey is no stranger to finishing in the top of FFL1. He's been Top 3 every season except the inaugural one for FFL1. He finished 3rd in 2022 and 2023, and he lost to none other than Ja'Marrvelous D*cker in the championship last year. He's hoping to end his streak of being "not quite good enough," while Ja'Marrvelous D*cker has his sights on being the first BACK TO BACK champion in FFL1.

FFL2 Recap

Jackson's Finest Team (231.5) picked a helluva time to put up the highest score across both leagues all season long. He dropped that bomb on the head of the Tater Tuds (149.2), punching his ticket to the championship in a very strong way.

Tua's Trophy Fish (164.66) came away with a decisive win over My Nabers (122.32), landing himself in his second championship in a row. 

Abstract Sports FFL2 Championship

Tua's Trophy Fish (2) vs Jackson's Finest Team (1)

Since this is only the 2nd season of FFL2, Tua's Trophy Fish could be the first team to go BACK TO BACK in this league, AND be the only one to have won it at all. However, the new guy, Jackson's Finest Team, has been a dominant force all season long. He earned the most high score cash grabs of any team by far, and is constantly in the win column. BUT, anything can happen, especially with playoff picture implications being a factor in players playing or not. It's also a holiday week and that always adds to the pressure for the players I'm sure.

The winner gets $120, a custom trophy, and TBD Abstract Sports swag. The loser gets $30 and some TBD Abstract Sports swag as well.
